Joseph Zorzi was a designer for Kay who introduced a model to tepid response in 1930. I loved it! After cleaning up the lines and following my own esthetic, I hoped to hear one of these made of top notch materials- the way Mr. Zorzi had intended.
Engelman spruce top.
Oregon myrtle back, sides, binding and head plates.
Ebony fretboard and tail piece.
Truss rod is accessible under the neck joint cantilever.
Tailpiece is attached by dovetail and friction fit.
Hand cut dovetail joint.
