For the past 18 years this has been my job.

Professionals, amateurs and students continue to count on me to provide a comprehensive repair service with the utmost skill and care, in a timely fashion and at a reasonable cost.  Estimates are accurately quoted and I guarantee the results. I am also available for studio, tour support and emergencies.  I would be happy to see to your electric or acoustic instrument, be it guitar, bass, banjo, ukulele, resonator or folk instrument.

    I have recently added the services of Todd Baker so if it suprises you to be talking to someone else- have no fear! you are in good hands.  He is a trained professional who performs his work with the same care and zeal that I hope I still have.

    Should you wish to have your instrument seen to, here are a few things to keep in mind:  Todd or myself will want to assess your instrument with you present.  If you have a few minutes when you drop it off I can show you what your guitar needs in order for to be able to guarantee the final setup.  I want to make sure that you are aware of and sign off on the extent of the work that will be performed.  That way there are no surprises in the final bill.  In the end, it is up to you the extent to which I take care of your instrument.

   The estimated time of completion is just that: an estimate.  I will work through the work orders in turn and I will call you once yours is ready for pick up.  Should you need it before the estimated time or by a firm date, I may need to ask for a rush fee.

-These are only estimates.  The actual cost is based on billed time.

1. -Services performed are guaranteed to satisfaction, not necessarily to ultimate satisfaction in the instrument itself, and only to the services performed, not to services an instrument is possibly still in need of.  Honor of this guarantee is through labor at no additional charge.  Additional parts and services are subject to additional charge
   

2. -Parts usually take a week to get here, and I ask that they be paid for in advance.

-  70 - Install saddle (acoustic)

- 300 - Re-fret (base rate)

-  25 - Pick-up drop in

-  30 - Clean and restring (+cost of strings)

-  30 - Intonation (electric)

-  60-90 - Install acoustic pick-up

- 300 - Reset neck (base rate)

1. -120-220 - Headstock repair
   

2. - 30% mark up on rush jobs
